Expertise: Inventory Management, ISO Quality, 3M Industrial Sales

Evan joined the Quality Mill team in 2008 and has worked in the industry for 12 years. At Quality Mill, Evan has served as key account support, ISO system development, Regional Sales Manager and VP of Sales. Prior to joining Quality Mill, Evan worked for 3M's Industrial Business for 4 years as a sales representative in North Carolina. As the 3rd generation of Gilbert's to work at Quality Mill, Evan appreciates the efforts of those who have come before him and feels a strong drive to improve the company for future generations.

Since coming on board, his key accomplishments include implementation of the company's ISO system, numerous vending and inventory management program implementations and expansion of Quality Mill's business outside of Indiana. Since moving into the role of President in late 2014, Gilbert has focused his efforts on improving the communication of the organization as well as setting a clear direction for the company. As he moves Quality Mill into its next phase of growth, he will be focusing on the key areas that QMS believes provides distinct value to our customers: Inventory Management, Safety, Training, Integrated Supply, Process Improvement and Gauging and Metrology.

An inquisitive person never stops learning and that desire for connection and knowledge has been at the heart of Evan's work with the Industrial Supply Association. From 2014-2017, Evan served on the Emerging Leaders Board of ISA where he worked with fellow board members to provide educational and networking opportunities to like-minded young professionals looking to make a difference in their industry. Evan also sits on the ISA Education Foundation Board of Directors where he is the chairperson of the Gary Buffington Scholarship Committee and also a member of the Recruitment and Placement Committee.
